Good morning, readers!
I've been awake since 5AM with maybe 4 hours of sleep. Having a baby is wonderful, isn't it?
There's that sarcasm again.
I do love them. I promise. I just don't love the up, down, up, down of the night routine. I'll be honest, after almost 5 months, I have gotten way used to it.
Today, I want to share a recipe with you. I love Stef over at CupcakeProject. She makes amazing cupcakes and I have actually done a few of her recipes a while ago. She has a Buffalo Chicken Superbowl Cupcake on her main page that looks interesting enough to try, so I just might!
But I wanted to share this recipe with you because it is closing in on Valentine's Day and starting later today, I'll be sticking to that topic with some great giveaways coming!
This is a great recipe because while it is great to eat 12 (or 24) cupcakes, sometimes, you just want one. This recipe makes just two chocolate spice cupcakes to share (if you feel like it!) A perfect way to (almost) end your Valentine's night.
So make a nice romantic dinner for you husband, two pretty little cupcakes to share, and end the night right, instead of cleaning up a big mess in the kitchen!
Well, enough of the subtle hinting I'm doing. On to the review!
I'm not sure about you, but with two kids, I have to have double the amount of baby toys on hand. Kids just don't seem to share well, even if you try teaching it. They just want what they want. That's not a bad thing when you have variety to choose from. Ebeanstalk.com is that variety. Looking at their 1 year old toys, they have this cute Super Sprial Play Tower that I think my girls would just love! They seem to have taken a liking to anything Penguin, just like their mother, and this penguin swirls around the track! Seriously, this is cute. I also enjoy the Interlocking Beads because I remember playing with these as a kid, and well, if I want to enjoy playing with toys, I'm going to play with ones with my kids that I want to play with, too. (Is that not right?)
The site is easy to navigate in and is separated by sections. The only issue I can see is that some of you may not notice the little orange learning video icon and wonder why there is a video on your screen, that you can't get off.
Please don't let that persuade you! They have a lot of popular baby toys and even toys I haven't seen before. I love this Baby Builder because it would be very easy for my girls to grasp and figure out how to use. They can snap, pop, twist and pull these toys and the toy has "unique connect and twist pieces." This is actually something I plan to purchase. I love toys like this because my girls can easily learn and I'm willing to help them in any way possible.
They have toys ranging from 0 months to 12 years, so there's a pretty good mix of stuff for that range of children. They even sell go-karts!
I actually have to include a link for this Mould & Paint Dinosaur set because I love Dinosaurs. See what I'm talking about with getting things you like? It makes it more enjoyable for you to play games with your kids for hours, and not get annoyed because for the fifth time, you are yet again a princess at a tea party.
Mix it up! Use ebeanstalk.com and find something new. I promise you won't be dissapointed. I only featured a few things here in my review. There are still a whole lot of amazing toys on there! Plus, they have a Grow and Learn series where you can purchase 4 items at once for a set amount and it comes with a FREE MacMillian First Dictionary. They also have a category for "toys that won't break the bank," and toys with "wow-factor."
Seriously, check this website out. This is one of the best online stores I have seen for kids in a while. There's so much more to this website and so many great toys.
